NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED LOCAL LAW NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Town Board of the Town of Friendship at the Town Hall, 4 Main St., The Town of Friendship, New York, at 6:30 pm on the 18th of September 2019, concerning proposed Local Law Number 2 of 2019, entitled "A Local Law Regulating Use of Limited Use Vehicles and All Terrain Vehicles on Town Highways," The purpose of the proposed local law is to regulate limited use vehicles and all terrain vehicles on Town roads within the Town of Friendship. A copy of the proposed local law is available for inspection at the office of the Town Clerk. At such time and place all person interested in the subject matter of the proposed local law will be heard concerning the same.

NOTICE ON RENTAL PROPERTIES-Any house, apartment or structure that is rented,leased, subleased or occupied as a dwelling unit by anyone other than the owner as recorded on a deed, contract or other record of sale or title, is required to be inspected for the following required physical, structural and health considerations, on any occasion initially, that may be the result of a second party occupying aforesaid dwelling unit. Any rental unit, as described above, that changes rental status within (6) months of a previous inspection shall not be required to be inspected unless requested by the landlord or owner. Initial fee to be paid for this rental inspection shall be $25.00. Inspection for paid for and filled out at the Town Hall. Reference to Local Law #1 of 2010.

The Town Hall will be closed on Thursday, May 9, 2019 due to Southern Tier West conference training. The Town hall will be open from 4-8 pm for Grievances.

ATTENTION FRIENDSHIP RESIDENTS: The Town of Friendship Residents are able to review the "Crossroads Water Contract". Review of the contract can be done at the Town Hall on regular business hours. Any questions call 585/973-7779. A SPECIAL MEETING will follow on Wednesday, April 24th @7:00 pm at the Depot Street meeting room on Depot Street in regards to the Water Contract.
